Established in 2010, the West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival is a creation of the Electronic Media program of the West Virginia University School of Art and Design.
Along with co-organizing the 2022 event, three other team members and I were dedicated to creating excitement for the festival over a five month timeline. I took responsibility as the lead of design on the team, and in doing so, led the rebrand of the festival.
On this project, I directed, created, & managed total design, led the construction of a total rebrand, and created a new logo & 6 logo variations. Some of the work I did with print included: arranging the 43-page physical program, producing 27”x40” posters, creating promotional flyers, and creating any additional signage. On the digital side, my responsibilities included: designing submission graphics, creating social media graphics & videos, and assisting in web design.
